HomeZwift Joining a BBC Ride

Start your weekend with the BBC Sat or Sun 9 am Zwift rides or join us on Wed at 6 pm. Rides are usually 1 hour. The Zwift ride schedule is here. The rides for each week are posted every Monday on the Zwift Companion app, select Club Bombay Bicycle Club Madison.

The Wed and Sat rides use Keep Together mode, popularly known as ‘rubber band’. This keeps everyone together regardless of effort. Your distance, power, heart rate etc. will however show your actual effort. Sunday Challenge rides are hillier and Keep Together mode is not enabled. We use a Discord Channel so you can talk with other BBC Zwifters during the rides.

Follow all the steps below to join BBC Zwift Club rides.

Zwift Apps
(required)

To join any Zwift ride, there are 2 apps you must have:

Zwift

This is the app you'll use for all Zwift rides. It displays the virtual route graphics, automatically adjusts pedaling resistance and shows your real time ride data (power, speed, heart rate, cadence etc)

  • Install the Zwift app from the iPhone App Store, Google Play (Android) or the Microsoft Store (Windows PC)

  • Next you’ll set up your Zwift account and payment methods. Feel free to append “(BBC-MSN)” to your Zwift user name so we recognize BBC riders

Zwift Companion (free)
This is the app you'll use to accept the invite for each BBC Zwift event. It has many other uses to help you find and schedule other Zwift events, races etc.

  • Download the Zwift Companion App from the iPhone App Store or Google Play. It is not available for Windows
