  • Wisconsin Bike Fed
    The Wisconsin Bike Fed is a statewide, nonprofit advocacy and education organization.  They work with people from all around the state to make cycling, safe, accessible and fun. 
  • Wisconsin DOT Bicycle Safety:
    Bicycles are considered “vehicles” on Wisconsin roadways. That means bicyclists must obey the rules of the road like any other vehicle and must be treated as equal users by all other vehicles. Know your rights, know the law, be safe, and be courteous.
  • WI Gravel Map

    Gravelmap is an interactive database of gravel and dirt roads and paths, submitted and managed entirely by people who ride them. Gravelmap is owned and operated by Whitewater.


National Resources


The National Center for Bicycling & Walking

NCBW is a resident program at Project for Public Spaces, Inc. NCBW was establishing in 1977, as the Bicycle Federation of America, Inc. NCBW’s mission is to create bicycle-friendly and walkable communities. http://www.bikewalk.org/aboutus.php

League of American Bicyclists
The League of American Bicyclists is the oldest bicycling organization in the US. It works through its members to promote better education and better facilities for bicyclists. Hosts the annual National Bike Summit. http://www.bikeleague.org/

Rails to Trails Conservancy
The purpose of Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (RTC) is to enrich America’s communities and countryside by creating a nationwide network of public trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. http://www.railstotrails.org

National Complete Streets Coalition
National Complete Streets Coalition is a coalition of organizations that advocates that streets should be designed to serve all users, of all abilities, of all ages. http://www.completestreets.org/
